Homebirth midwifery care and full spectrum doula support based in Sonoma County, California
Paramount to our philosophy of care is the belief that all people have sovereignty of their bodies and their reproductive processes. We hold an underlying confidence in your body and your decisions about your own healthcare. We value the normalcy of reproductive processes and the many ways in which “normal” may present itself.
Our work is full spectrum and we believe in all people, all bodies, and that all reproductive choices should be accessible to everyone. Our commitment to reproductive work is grounded in the principle that people have the innate right to gentle, non-traumatic healthcare.
From guiding you through the journey to bringing new life into the world to helping you through pregnancy loss, we are here to support our clients. We meet our clients where they’re at, providing comprehensive, non-judgmental, individualized care.
SHE/THEY
I was born in my great grandmother’s bedroom under the redwoods in Cazadero, making home birth part of the foundation of who I am. I’ve always been struck by the inexplicably miraculous and yet wholly ordinary nature of our bodies during pregnancy, birth and fertility cycles. It has been my great pleasure to be raised within a family and community who have contributed to my trust in and reverence for our bodies’ natural processes.
Eight years after becoming a mother myself, I began my path to become a Licensed Midwife with the encouragement and support of my community. Elizabeth Davis’ Heart and Hands midwifery course led to my first apprenticeship in 2014. Later that year I started my long-term apprenticeship in a midwifery practice in Sebastopol where the bulk of my hands on learning and clinical experience took place. Here, I had the incredible opportunity to witness and care for pregnant people in a loving, supportive and co-creative environment and learn the intricacies of home birth midwifery care. I graduated from the National Midwifery Institute in Spring 2019 and received my Certified Professional Midwife and California Licensed Midwife credentials shortly thereafter.
I am passionate about reproductive rights of individuals and offer full spectrum support and options counseling. Access to high quality, individualized, client-led care is at the core of my values. I also deeply believe in the importance of body literacy and fertility awareness as a means of empowering us to feel safe and confident in our bodies. As a Licensed Midwife in the state of California, I’m excited for the opportunity to support you as you navigate the intricacies and moments of vulnerability and growth in your reproductive journey.

It is our deepest honor to offer midwifery services which include a comprehensive package of preconception, prenatal, labor and birth, and postpartum support. We offer individualized, holistic, loving care and education to our clients and families and work together with you to formulate the best care plan for your planned home birth. At this time, all visits will be held in your home, unless other arrangements are made.
Many of us dread getting a pelvic exam and the whole experience of going to a clinic and getting on “the table”. We get it. We feel it too. We want to shout from the rooftops that midwifery has another way! Let us come to your home and offer a well body exam, we promise the experience will be wholly different than what you’ve experienced in a clinical setting. We want to support you in reclaiming your power by reminding you that you are in control of the visit and the exam, and your healthcare.
Our well body visits take place in your home and include STI screenings, annual exams and PAP tests.

Morgan was the midwife assistant for my first birth. She was there for every check up, for every meeting, at my home birth, and on call for my postpartum (she received many texts from my husband and I - sorry Morgan!) Her contributions were so important to me that when I became pregnant with my second I went with a different midwife JUST so I could be with Morgan again (who had switched midwives). I couldn’t imagine her not being there to help me/us. Her energy, her touch, her approach is so gentle and full of love. She is the real deal. She always made me feel safe and taken care of and spoke to me with respect, clarity, and kindness. My husband also adores Morgan. The way she always included him, never made him feel unwanted or unimportant, was everything to him. We both have a deep love and gratitude for her. When any friend asks for a recommendation for a doula or midwife I always guarantee that they will also fall in love with Morgan and that they will be in the BEST hands (I’ve been told I was right!). And if we ever have a third, Morgan will be my first call.
It’s hard to imagine my birth experience without Morgan and Hannah. They were by my side every step of the way and ensured both me and my baby had everything we needed. Their knowledge and support allowed me to have the natural birth I wanted, even though I was high risk and could not have the homebirth I imagined. Both Morgan and Hannah showered my baby and I with all the love and support you could ever want. They became part of our family.
Morgan was a wonderful addition to my birth experience. I wanted someone in my corner who knew what I wanted out of my birth plan and would be able to provide the support and knowledge to help get there. Morgan was knowledgeable related to all the aspects of the birthing process, including pre and postpartum care. The energy she has about her is calm, and she has such a kind and sweet soul with a genuine passion for this work. I was able to have the birth experience I had desired, and her support was integral to this happening. She also lovingly involved my family the whole process. Thank you Morgan!

Access to safe, grounded, comprehensive, midwifery care is central to our ethical framework. We do have standard fees for our services*.
We do not believe in offering discounts to folks who can pay in full by a certain date, or can otherwise easily afford our fees -that simply rewards the folks with means, and further contributes to the lack of access for folks in financial need.
* If our fees are prohibitive to you and a barrier to you accessing care, please reach out.
~~~If you are birthing outside of Sonoma County or are more than one hour from Petaluma, we may ask you to pay a one time travel fee.~~~
We offer an income based sliding scale for our Global Maternity Fee ranging from $5,000-$9,000. This fee includes prenatal, perinatal and postpartum midwifery care in your home. We include the fee for the assist midwife as well as the birth pool in our global fee.
